Ms. Wood has been in the environmental commodity and project development business for over 15 years. She is currently a Senior Advisor for Dentons in their Environmental and Clean Energy business where she is responsible for advising clients on business strategy and opportunities in the space. Prior to that, she was the CEO of Sindicatum Carbon Capital Americas. At SCCA, she was part of a team that managed and deployed a $230 million project development fund.

Ms. Wood started her career as an Environmental Engineer for Emcon, was recruited by Enron’s commodity marketing desk in 1999 and subsequently moved on to Sempra Energy’s emissions, oil and natural gas trading desks. In 2003, she joined the newly created AgCert International. At AgCert, Ms. Wood was in charge of originating Clean Development Methodology (CDM) and Verified Emission Reduction (VERs) deals in the carbon markets. She has been actively involved with the US carbon and renewable energy market development, including originating, verifying and marketing carbon credits and participating in the regulatory development process for the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) and California’s AB32.
